Books have always been an important part of my life. Our family started listening to audiobooks to
get us quietly through those long car trips with the kids. I started listening to audiobooks for myself just to be
able to read more books. It is a great way to multitask and it sure makes folding the laundry a lot more fun! Over the
years, I have fallen in love with the whole audiobook experience. It is such a pampering treat to listen to an audiobook.
I still love to read print books, but for my favorite authors and narrators, I choose audio over print.
I am fortunate to be one of the owners of All Ears Audiobooks, a retail book store in San Jose, California that specializes in
audiobooks. Not only does it give me an endless supply of books, I get to interact with the best darn
customers anywhere! |

| While I try to listen to a variety of books, I gravitate to the Non-Fiction section, with several Mystery, Personal Growth, Sci-Fi, and Business titles thrown in. It's almost too hard to work in the
store as there so many good titles to choose from. |

| When I started working for All Ears in November, 2008, I stuck mostly to the Fantasy and
Science Fiction books. Though I am still the go-to source for this section of the store, I'm slowly branching
out into our Personal Growth and Non-Fiction sections. I love the feeling of infinite possibility when you've
finished a book and are searching for another,
